Independent Day and Boarding School for Girls 11–18 years

Wychwood was established in 1897 by Miss Margaret Lee, one of the pioneer academic women at Oxford University, to educate ‘genuine girls not imitation boys’. Wychwood is a Christian, non-denominational foundation, but welcomes pupils of all faiths. Wychwood’s family atmosphere is, in part, attributable to its size. ‘Small is beautiful’.

In the evenings we can watch TV and play some games with all our friends. It’s a good time to talk to teachers before we go to bed.
